gtansu (the “Developer”) establishes this policy for the Android application Limit Day (the “App”).
1. Information handled by the App
The App stores the event titles, dates, emoji, themes, repeat settings, reminder offsets, and unlocked-theme preferences that the user creates, on the device. The App has no account system and no Developer-operated server for user records.
Share images are generated on the device and are written to device storage or handed to another app only when the user chooses to save or share them. The Developer does not receive these images.
2. Advertising and analytics services
The App uses Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, InMobi, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Remote Config for advertising, usage measurement, delivery configuration, and fraud prevention. These services may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from an IP address, device identifiers such as advertising and app-instance IDs, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Event titles, dates, and emoji are not included in advertising or analytics events. Each provider’s policy also applies to its processing.
3. Permissions
- Notifications (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS): used to show event reminders. Android 13 and later require the user’s permission; the rest of the App works without it. - Storage (
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, Android 9 and earlier only): used to save share images to the device. - Internet and network state (
INTERNET,ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): used for advertising and configuration delivery.
The App does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo-library read permissions.
4. Consent and choices
Where required by law or distribution region, the App displays an advertising consent flow. When shown, users can manage their choices through that flow. Event reminders are configured by the user per event.
5. Security, retention, and deletion
Information sent off the device by advertising and analytics services is processed through encrypted transport provided by those services. On-device events remain until the user deletes them. Individual events can be deleted in the App. All on-device App data can be deleted by clearing the App’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the App.
6. Children
The App is not designed for children under 13.
